Firostefani is an old village just above Fira the capital of Santorini. Although considered a separate village and much quieter than the capital, today it has merged with Fira, becoming one of its suburbs. Firostefani means 'Crown of Fira' (stefani = crown). Main characteristics are traditional houses, narrow paths and views to the volcano. Firostefani connects to Fira by the main asphalt road or via the Caldera footpath.
